Unless you plan to dine out (there are several very good restaurants on the island and nearby Bayfield) you can bring provisions and cook meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Wine, a great cup of coffee and Marie’s signature cinnamon rolls can be purchased at Mission Hill Coffee in downtown La Pointe.
Blue Water Vista is on South Shore Drive about 2.5 miles from the Madeline Island Ferry Line landing in La Pointe. It is a nice bike ride into town. Blue Water Vista is also very close to the Robert Trent Jones-designed golf course and the marina.
Blue Water Vista is a ten-minute drive from the Major Gilbert Field, the airport on Madeline Island (4R5).
